Membership

Membership may be awarded to

• Generals and Admirals,
• Officers, currently or formerly on General Staff/Admiral Staff duty,
• Officers on training for General Staff/Admiral Staff duty,
• Staff Officers who promote and support the objectives of the Clausewitz-Gesellschaft,
• Highly qualified junior officers who can be expected to exert a promoting influence in regard to the objectives of the Clausewitz-Gesellschaft,
• Other personalities who by their experience and performance further and support the endeavours of the Clausewitz-Gesellschaft.

The annual membership fee of the society is presently EUR 78,00; for active officers below the rank of Major EUR 30,00.

Reserve officers, who have completed their vocational training, are charged the full fee of EUR 78,00. The reduction for officers up to and including the rank of Captain is applicable for personnel on active duty only.

The annual membership fee is payable at the start of each calendar year. In order to facilitate matters, the society should be given authorization for payment by direct debit.
