Thus, the web site documents our understanding of the work of the Clausewitz-Gesellschaft e.V.. Ever since it was founded as an independent organization in 1961, the society has charged itself with drawing useful conclusions for the present from the encounter with the thoughts of military thinker and great philosopher Carl von Clausewitz, especially through critical reflection on the strategic and security-political questions of our time.
